O
ne of the projects I am working on this year is the production of our own set of cf10ten predictions cards which will combine my passion for tarot and photography. I have been reading tarot for over 25 years and have produced many unique spreads and a style which is easy to follow. I now want you to have a chance to learn to read the cards and help create them *smile*
What I want to do is create a slight different version of tarot cards, called prediction cards, there will be 80 in a pack, not the normal 78 that are in a tarot pack. There will be a mixture of landscape and portrait, designed in such away that you can easily learn the numerous spreads which will be available. They will be quick to learn, fun and intuitive. I will be using photographs that have been vectorised. There will be a printed version and an online version.
The other good part about this project is that you can help *smile* I am after photos in various categories and all that is required is that they are sent in a jpg, bmp, or tiff format and if taking of a person, who can be identified in the photo you have their permission. For every photo used for the final set, the photographer will get £10. Everyone will have a chance to select their favourites photos and of course buy a copy which should be around £10. 10% of the sells will go to a children charity keeping in with the 10ten theme. *smile*
As to photos we want - Photos which subject represents a number between 1 - 10. So you could have 1 duck, 2 people, three trees, 4 dogs, 5 flowers, 5 footsteps and so on to 10. The subject can be anything but the ones that are not too cluttered are the best. If in doubt send them in, I can photoshop them. How they work with the four suits cups, coins, staves and swords will become clearer nearer the time. All photos if possible should be in landscape.
We are also looking for 10 female and 10 male photos. The photos ideally should be in portrait and should be full length and we are looking for different ages from child to mature. The photo's will be vectorised so will not be easy to identify, though we do need consent from the people in the photo. If possible the photo should be taken against an uncluttered but interesting background with only one person in the shot.
Of course if you fancy posing for a photo let me know and I will arrange to get your photo, who knows where your fame will take you *smile*

The cards will be fun, easy to read with a few new features and instructions on how to read the cards wil be put on this site.
The closing date is not till 30 June 2011 so plenty of time to get clicking, you will find lots of useful tips on taking photos on here and on our facebook page.
